Dubitable Roles
A downloadable game
Dubitable Roles is a fascinating new take on some good old household games.
Each player gets a role, that role dictates how you "kill" other players. When you kill other players, you take their roles, you may use all abilities of roles you have. The game ends when one player has all the roles in play.
let me reiterate- the game ONLY ends when one player has all the roles.
That means, even if people leave, the game group breaks up, or the time to play has come to an end, the game is not over.
This game is great for any group that meets regularly, or periodically,
from parties, to school, youth groups, retreats, vacations, theatre group, a family, a friend group, even work, if you can be subtle- maybe, probably best not to try that.
To play, simply shuffle up the roles, and deal one, face down, to each player, unused roles are put away without being looked at.
Everyone keeps their card with them, or in a safe space, for the duration of the game.
If you think of a role that isn't in the game, just make it yourself! And BAM! you can play with one more person.
Need to accommodate more players? print out another sheet of roles and play with duplicates! twice the players! repeat until everyone is included.
Special Cases:
The guesser should not be played in unexperienced groups.
If the assassin kills the introvert, they kill each other and swap all cards. This only happens if the assassin's ability was used.
The porcupine's ability does not trigger the competitor's ability as it is not an unrelated game.
